'American Horror Story' Ben Woolf Dies at 34
The actor Benjamin Woolf, who starred in the television series American Horror Story, has died after suffering a stroke.
Woolf was crossing a street in the LA suburb of Hollywood at the time, he was struck in the head by an external side mirror from a passing car
The 34-year-old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in critical condition for treatment.
In a brief statement his agent and family confirmed his death
"Ben was one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten. The time we all shared together will be remembered forever," - Agent
"We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben," the family statement said. - Family
According to police, the driver of the car, an SUV, stopped at the scene and would not face charges.
Woolf appeared in two seasons of the series American Horror Story.
In the first season he played the Infantata, a malevolent creature created from the stitched remains of other bodies; in the fourth season, which was titled American Horror Story: Freak Show, he played the role of a man named Meep.
He also starred in a handful of independent movies, including Unlucky Charms, Dead Kansas and Haunting Charles Manson.
