The 2014 President's NYSC Honours Awardees conducted a free medical outreach to Wassa IDP camp, FCT- Abuja today Saturday the 29th day of August 2015, serving corps members-Medical & Health CDS group were in attendance. The Program was well-intentioned and conducted successfully. Programs like this outreach are not new to us as ex corps members because the NYSC Community Development Service (CDS) afforded us the opportunity to apply our cognitive skills, learning and resources to the betterment of our host communities, this has been the bedrock of our achievements. Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, stage name Ali Baba, is a Nigerian stand-up comedian. The Veteran comedian, in a recent interview stated that he cannot share the same stage where younger comedians who are suppose to be making a living from. Adding that he cannot be going for events where he will be paid N200,000 to anchor. “People expect me to be jumping up and down the stage at the kind of events that the younger comedians should be seen performing. Florence Aladenoye, was mauled to death by a dog in Idanre, in Idanre, Ondo State. She was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, after she was attacked by the dog but unfortunately for her, she died. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incident, and added that after the dog attacked the 55- year-old woman, she was taken to 5 different hospitals before she died at the FMC.

A Florida family has been rewarded for years of treasure hunting after finding gold artifacts worth $1 million or more from the wreckage of a 1715 Spanish fleet that sank in the Atlantic Ocean. According to reliable sources, Eric Schmitt found the coins in 15 feet of water off Fort Pierce, approximately 130 miles north of Miami. The find included 51 gold coins of various denominations and 40 feet of ornate gold chain.
