THE Kardashians are going to have a tough time getting around Hollywood. Several signs that read “No Kardashian Parking Anytime” have been erected in popular locations around Los Angeles.The seven signs were nailed onto street poles along with other official parking signs — one of them even outside the Kardashian’s DASH boutique.Kardashian’s have been ‘banned’ from parking — even outside their store and while they look like the real deal, of course they’re completely fake.They’re the latest work from street artist Plastic Jesus
.He says he got the idea recently when traffic came to a standstill because paparazzi were waiting for a Kardashian sister.“The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture,” he toldThe Hollywood Reporter.
The signs look official, but are the work of street artist Plastic Jesus.
“We’ve allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions.“I guarantee that same number of paparazzi was far greater than any number of photographers chasing real news.”And even though the signs are a definite act of vandalism, the LAPD told The Hollywood Reporterthat no complaints had been filed.
